Jesse D. Swanson

Jesse D. Swanson, 22, of 6969 Highland Road, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born May 12, 1990 in St Marys, he was a son of John R. and Tracy P. (Lundberg) Swanson.

Jesse was a 2008 graduate of Kane Area High School and graduated from Triangle Tech in 2010. He was a welder and fabricator for Dangelo Auto Body. Jesse was an avid snowboarder, hiker, camper and weightlifter.

Besides his parents of Kane, he is survived by 2 sisters; Julie A Swanson and Sarah S Swanson, both of Kane, his maternal grandparents; Willard (Buster) and Shirley Kennedy of James City, paternal grandmother; Jennie Swanson of Sheffield, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather; Donald Swanson.

Family and friends will be received from noon to 2pm Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of Kane where a memorial service will be held at 2:00 with Rev. William LaVelle, pastor, and Rev. Craig Smith, pastor of the Mt. Jewett United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mt Tabor Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Kane or a charity of the donor’s choice.
